Facial Prices

How much does Facial Prices cost?

A facial is a wonderful way to take care of your complexion and enjoy some time for yourself. A facial is more than just an aesthetician applying a series of cleansers, masks, scrubs and serums to your face and neck. Like massage therapy and other wellness services, costs vary depending on a variety of factors. Those factors include the products, techniques and technology being used to treat your skin, plus the level of expertise of the aesthetician and how long the facial lasts. As a result, facial prices range from $40-$50 for a 30-minute 'express' facial up to $200-$250 (or more) for a 90-minute treatment using cutting-edge technology and all-natural, cruelty-free products.

Facial treatments

Most aestheticians tailor the different treatments and applications in a facial to each individual client™s skin type, but they also offer a set menu of facials from which to choose. Here is a sample of facials offered by Morocco Skin & Body in Birmingham, Alabama, owned by Jennifer Pyles, an aesthetician and massage therapist with 14 years of experience:

  • Signature: $75 for 50-60 minutes

  • Gentlemen™s: $75 for 50 minutes

  • Microdermabrasion: $90 for 60 minutes

  • Absolute Nirvana: $115 for 75 minutes

  • Ultrasonic: $80 for 50 minutes

The ultrasonic facial uses ultrasound to improve circulation under the skin while reducing inflammation. Pyles also specializes in dermaplaning, a technique using a scalpel to gently exfoliate dead skin and fine facial hair to create a smoother appearance so makeup can be applied more easily and evenly. Pyles offers dermaplaning on its own and with a facial to calm, hydrate and protect skin afterward:

  • Dermaplaning only: $50 for 30 minutes

  • Dermaplaning with calming facial: $95 for 60 minutes

At her and Restore Spa in Midvale, Utah, owner Larissa McGee offers these facial services:

  • Custom (tailored to your skin type and condition): $90 for 60 minutes, $115 for 90 minutes

  • Ultrasonic: $90 for 60 minutes, $125 for 90 minutes

  • Fix it Fast: $60 for 30 minutes

  • Back (for acne or uneven skin on the back): $90 for 60 minutes

  • Rezenerate (uses nanotechnology for skin repair): $145 for 60 minutes

Facial peels

Chemical peels are used to treat skin problems such as acne, sun spots, fine lines, wrinkles, and uneven skin tone and texture. They involve the use of chemicals such as glycolic or salicylic acid, Jessner™s solution, trichloroacetic acid (TCA) and phenol. The chemical is applied to your skin and then removed after a specified period of time. The top layer of your skin peels off as a result, revealing newer, more supple and younger-looking skin beneath. Chemical peels will cost slightly more than standard facials because the chemicals themselves can be expensive and the process takes more time. and Restore Spa offers the following facial peels:

  • Organic Fruit: $100 for 60 minutes

  • Vitamin C: $100 for 60 minutes

  • Age-No-More: $110 for 60 minutes

  • Acne: $110 for 60 minutes

Morocco Skin & Body offers peels on their own and in combination with other treatments as follows:

  • Jessner™s Peel: $75 for 30 minutes

  • Triple Crown (anti-aging combination of microdermabrasion, ultrasonic and TCA peel): $125 for 60 minutes

Skincare technology

Some skincare technologies and treatments, such as ultrasonic, microdermabrasion and Rezenerate, require physical equipment in addition to specific topical products. Treatments using these tools and methods will cost more because the aesthetician must purchase the equipment and complete specialty training.

Multi-service packages

Aestheticians and day spas often offer discounts on certain services when clients purchase multi-packs. and Restore Spa offers a discount on its Rezenerate facials (normally $125 each) if clients purchase them in multi-packs of 3 for $360 (save $15) or 6 for $600 (save $150). Morocco Skin & Body offers a pack of 3 Jessner peel facials, normally $75 each, for $210 (save $15).

Mini massage

Aestheticians often include a neck and shoulder massage with longer, more involved facial treatments ” or you can add this targeted massage for a small fee.
