How to compare your options
Keep the event year visible on every supplier quote. An older Saturday quote can be accurate for its original year and still understate a future booking. If Friday is workable for your guests, compare the total travel and vendor schedule against Saturday; a cheaper rental does not automatically mean a cheaper celebration if you need another hotel night or a different setup plan.

Questions for your Dallas venue
- Is the proposal explicitly for our event year?
- Which hours, furniture and staff are included?
- Does our date qualify for a summer rate or attract a holiday premium?
Ask for one written total
Have the venue separate rent, required services, food and beverage minimums, service charges, tax and deposits. Confirm which payments reduce the final balance and which are extra. Request the cancellation, weather and overtime terms with the quote.
If coordination is included or required, compare its scope with a wedding coordinator or day-of coordinator before hiring additional help.
