Wedding venue fees by city

Each guide uses named venue examples. Prices are not city averages, and older fee sheets are labeled with their dates.

Compare the whole venue bill

1. Match the event

Use the same guest count, dinner layout, date and access hours. Ceremony-only permits cannot be compared directly with catered reception packages.

2. Add required charges

Ask for staffing, security, furniture, catering minimums, service charges, tax, weather cover and cleanup. Confirm whether service charges include gratuities.

3. Separate payments

A deposit credited toward rent is an advance payment. A refundable damage deposit is cash tied up temporarily. A nonrefundable extra fee increases the event cost.

How these destinations were selected

FeeHQ selected a mix of city, coastal, garden, desert and wine-country wedding destinations across the United States. This is an editorial collection, not the 50 largest cities, a statistical ranking or a list of the cheapest venues.

We use venue operators and public agencies as sources, separate published rates from quote-only options, and identify examples outside city boundaries. We do not infer a city-wide average from one venue. Check each guide's rate note and obtain an event-year contract before booking. Read our research approach.
