Published venue fees in Kansas City
Loose Park Rose Garden
Rate note: Kansas City Parks' published wedding guidance checked October 28, 2026; verify the reservation and deposit terms before paying.
| Fee or option | Published amount | What it covers |
|---|---|---|
| Rose Garden wedding reservation | $375 | Two-hour block |
| Rehearsal | $100 | One hour, Monday–Thursday |
The reservation includes setup and cleanup time, does not close the park to the public and does not include a pavilion reception. The rules do not provide weather refunds. A booking deposit is listed separately; confirm whether it is credited toward the rental rather than adding it twice. Source details ↓
How to compare your options
Use the rehearsal to test the walking route and supplier timing, not to assume access outside the contracted wedding block. If your reception is elsewhere, ask its staff to accept early arrivals in case an outdoor ceremony is shortened. A written weather plan is especially useful when the ceremony site's fee cannot be recovered after a forecast changes.

- What approved alternative can we use in poor weather?
Ask for one written total
Have the venue separate rent, required services, food and beverage minimums, service charges, tax and deposits. Confirm which payments reduce the final balance and which are extra. Request the cancellation, weather and overtime terms with the quote.
If coordination is included or required, compare its scope with a wedding coordinator or day-of coordinator before hiring additional help.
